EDA Grant Expected to Create 600 Jobs and Generate $40 million in Private Investment

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Commerce Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) today announced a $950,000 grant to the city of Hutchinson, Minn., to help build the new Hutchinson Industrial Park.

"The Economic Development Administration is pleased to partner with Hutchinson to boost business development and job growth," said Sandra R. Walters, EDA Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer. "This EDA grant will help build an industrial park that will work to expand the regions high-tech manufacturing cluster and is expected to create 600 jobs and generate $40 million in private investment."
