The National Fund for Workforce Solutions is an initiative of national and local funders whose goal is career advancement of low-wage workers using a model of substantial employer engagement to increase the potential for successful outcomes. Dedrick has more than 25 years of experience in workforce and economic development: serving as the president of a regional workforce organization, the leader of a regional economic development organization, and currently, as Executive Director of a national organization with 35 affiliated regional workforce collaboratives. In this current position we have invested over $250 million of national and local funding in developing, growing and sustaining industry partnerships in a dozen sectors, working with over 4,000 employers and assisting over 50,000 workers and job seekers.
