This project aims to connect and strengthen Georgia’s Coastal Region’s entrepreneurial efforts for advancing early-stage business enterprises, with particular attention to businesses owned by minorities, women, veterans, and rural residents. The Coastal Empire Regional Ecosystem Strategy (CERES) blends synchronous meeting schedules with asynchronous content. CERES will focus on four themes for guiding entrepreneurs through their journey -- discover, ideate, incubate and cultivate. Entrepreneurs will gain valuable insight on economic trends and potential gaps by attending a quarterly series coordinated through the Center for Business Analytics and Economic Research. In addition, the program will orchestrate two annual demo days where university faculty will showcase commercializable research to area entrepreneurs and businesses.
