This EDA investment will infuse technology startup expertise into existing entrepreneurship resources, build a culture of tech entrepreneurship by creating inclusive on-ramps, and offer ideation and incubator programming. During the award period, Northern State University and its partners propose three initiatives vital to the Startup Center’s success through four strategies

1. Build a Scalable Tech Startup Champion Network to gain an in-depth understanding of scalable tech entrepreneurship, build a tech startup culture, and design programming for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs.
2. Build a Culture of Scalable Tech Entrepreneurship and Develop Accessible and Cohesive Pathways. The project will foster sharing of success stories through digital content and speaker series, infuse a tech startup mindset into existing entrepreneurship events, and create collaborative systems to build relationships and a “fail forward” mindset.
3. Provide Scalable Tech Entrepreneurship Growth Programming. Create and launch tech startup workshops and incubator programming. Launch the Startup Center in fall 2022 to build culture and programming.
