Red Wing Ignite

This project will build on the momentum supported through a prior EDA award that enabled the establishment of entrepreneurial support services across this rural region. Accelerating Rural Entrepreneurs in Southeast Minnesota will help overcome geographic dispersal and barriers to entry by expanding access to startup programs for rural and diverse founders through regional coordination. Red Wing Ignite will also launch an accelerator to expedite the growth of scalable tech startups in the region and build a robust, diverse network for mentors and investors ready to help scale regional startups. The strengthened entrepreneurial ecosystem will span an eleven-county region to ensure that all entrepreneurs, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, can develop, innovate, and launch high tech/high growth potential startups.
