The UAFS Center for Economic Development plays a crucial role in fostering economic growth by empowering businesses, aiding entrepreneurs, offering workforce training, and promoting innovation. With the EDA University Center designation, the CED has been able to expand its services and enhance partnerships with economic development organizations in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. Targeted beneficiaries include women, minorities, unemployed, underemployed, as well as indigenous and Native American persons.
