The Northeast Oklahoma Business Development Hub centers on assisting One Health, aerospace and autonomous systems, and energy startup companies, as well as developing technologies, within a six-county region of northeastern Oklahoma competitively apply for non-dilutive commercial grant opportunities at the federal, state, and local levels. Common non-dilutive funding opportunities include Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), and Oklahoma’s Center for Advancement of Science & Technology grants. The proposed program will establish a support system to source opportunities and assist with proposal organization, submission, award, and post-award processes. The Hub will also serve as a facilitator of collaboration between these qualifying small businesses and developing technologies and subcontracting opportunities with Oklahoma State University’s research expertise. Business incubators, county business development agencies, and tribal governments within the region will help market the services provided by the funding specialist to client businesses.
