The North Central Texas (NCT) region comprises predominately rural counties centered around the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington Metroplex. Travel to communities in surrounding rural areas is often limited. Rural entrepreneurs and economic development stakeholders need help, particularly in counties with reduced income and high unemployment. This Center is the first in the region and is backed by two large economic districts. It supports innovation and entrepreneurship across NCT, acting as a hub for knowledge-based economic development and resilience.
