U.S. Department of Commerce Invests $1.6 Million to Strengthen the Manufacturing Workforce in Southwest Minnesota

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.6 million grant to the Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Worthington, Minnesota. This grant will help address the growing demand for skilled workers in robotics, fluid power/advanced hydraulics, welding and CNC machining training in southwest Minnesota.

U.S. Department of Commerce Invests $2.5 Million to Support Disaster Recovery Planning in Connecticut
