According to the U.S. Census Bureau the state lost about 12,000 citizens last year to out migration. It is against this backdrop that, since 1999, the Mississippi State University University Center, MSU-UC, has built a robust, measurable program impacting the state’s economic development, but is also taking the first steps to address equity and resiliency when it comes to creating an ecosystem that fosters hope and opportunity for the state’s next generation of job creators.
