Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) will develop and expand accelerator programs, workshops, product discounts, and mentorship to help upskill entrepreneurs and ensure that startups receive stage-appropriate assistance. These activities will foster a cohesive and supportive community of founders and investors to serve the next generation. This project will support entrepreneurs from ideation through their series A stage to help improve chances of success, reduce time to commercialization, and enhance operational efficiency. By supporting more technology startups, WTIA will help drive economic growth, create new jobs, and build a thriving community.
WTIA Startup Programs have served over 300 startups in Washington state with mentorship, investor introductions, educational curricula, product discounts, and business development connections over the past 3 years. WTIA will expand these critical services to 500 more startups and 1,100 entrepreneurs over the next 3 years with a focus on founders from underrepresented groups and those in rural communities.
