The Arrowhead Center at New Mexico State University will expand its existing suite of early-stage entrepreneur support services and integrate a program within Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) designed to addresses barriers to commercialization. Programming will be population-focused (i.e., women, rural, and Tribal communities) and targeted to support ideation and technology development. Scale Up NM will expand existing Arrowhead initiatives (Sprint business accelerators, SBIR/STTR assistance, and commercialization support) and bring strong partnerships to leverage existing resources and capitalize on increased participation among collaborators. Ultimately, Scale Up New Mexico will serve all of New Mexico by providing economic development with programming that’s flexible and adaptive to communities’ needs.
