StartUpNV aims to assist communities seeking to grow businesses, create jobs, and attract and retain the best and brightest talent locally. With this EDA grant, StartUpNV will scale an online incubator program and create a new startup education program for entrepreneurs over three years to support scalable businesses in Nevada. The Nevada Innovation Ecosystem Entrepreneurial Technical Assistance project will scale the organization’s entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and support services. Two programs will be launched in the Las Vegas region and one will be expanded to include rural communities.
The three programs are:
- IncubateNV – offers rural founders the opportunity to progress their startups to a funding stage
- Founder University Nevada – provides a structured training program for founders
- Ecosystem Las Vegas – brings ecosystem building programs to the Las Vegas area
