The Arkansas Economic Development Institute (AEDI) serves as the federal depository for Arkansas census data from the U.S. Bureau of the Census, and, serving as an EDA University Center, offers applied demographic and economic analysis, economic forecasting, economic development education services, survey research, geographic information systems, and various technical assistance services. The UA Little Rocks University Center is positioned functionally and collaboratively through relationships with the economic development community to deliver technical assistance, applied research, and training assistance to support improvements in economic development opportunities for the state. Through its EDA University Center activities it supports encourages public/private partnerships to advance economic development, as well as, provide all aspects of support to the 8 EDA Districts throughout the state.
