The San Juan College (SJC) University Center, The Harvest, will focus on supporting regional commercialization efforts, cultivating innovation, and encouraging business expansion in the region’s innovation cluster of agriculture and food products. While these areas will overlap, the amount of time allocated to the areas will be as follows: commercialization 30%, cultivate innovation 30%, encourage business expansion 40%. The Harvest University Center will achieve this focus by providing technical assistance to the regional commercial food system by developing a food hub and makers market.
