Our Minority Business Incubator, ReslienSeed, interrupts the cycle of health and economic disparities and increases opportunities for minority entrepreneurship, business ownership, and wealth-building, while increasing workforce diversity. ResilienSeed provides minorities of diverse backgrounds and experiences the opportunity to present business ideas and connect them with critical and often difficult-to-access investment capital and support needed to make their business successful. A significant focus of Meharry's EDA University Center is to guide and support underserved entrepreneurs on their journey to applying for SBIR/STTR and other government funding mechanisms that are often complex and difficult for subject matter experts and industry experts. Meharry's unique insight, reach, and connectivity will help guide the next generation of underserved entrepreneurs to launch innovations created for and for their community. Ultimately leading towards a new, more equitable future via innovation and workforce diversity.
