The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) University Center (UC) is part of the Center for Innovation and Commercialization (CIC) in the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship (VCoBE). The focus of the University Center will be on advancing high-growth entrepreneurship and cultivating innovation with the goals of creating business enterprises and jobs. The CIC and UC serve as a centralized repository of entrepreneurial assistance and activities serving the entire Rio Grande Valley (RGV). Through activities and programs, the CIC and UC serve student, faculty and community entrepreneurs and startup companies. Programming and activities provided by the UC grant not only benefit the university, but the community and region as well.
